Why export PDF fields to CSV?

A CSV gives you a lightweight review file. You can sort by missing invoice numbers, filter warnings, compare vendors, or hand the extracted values to someone else before final archiving.

Fields that work well

  • Dates in ISO, US, UK, or month-name formats.
  • Invoice numbers and receipt numbers near clear labels.
  • Currency amounts near “Total” or “Amount due”.
  • Custom values captured by regular expressions.

How the CSV workflow works

Upload PDFs, choose extraction rules, run the preview, then click Export CSV. The CSV contains the original file name, extracted fields, generated file name, and warnings for each PDF.

Quality checks before using CSV data

Treat browser-extracted values as a review aid, not a legal record. For important accounting or compliance work, check rows with warnings and verify totals against the original PDF.
