Use of the tool

PDF Renamer is a free browser-based tool for extracting text from text-based PDFs and previewing renamed file copies. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and only with files you have the right to process.

Accuracy and review

PDF text extraction can be imperfect. Scanned PDFs, unusual layouts, missing text layers, and inconsistent invoice formats may produce incomplete or incorrect results. Always review generated file names before using them in production workflows.

Your files

The current version creates renamed copies in a ZIP file and does not modify your original files. You are responsible for keeping backups and confirming that renamed files match your intended workflow.
